This all volunteer, non-profit mission has been ministering to girls in the Rockport area and leading them to become "Jewels of Jesus". They also serve the Rockport community in many other ways.
They are currently struggling to recover from hurricane Harvey which completely destroyed their ministry's facilities
Despite all this, they continue to minister to the community, help house the displaced and feed hundreds of people.
Henly Baptist Church has pledged our help with their recovery. As a non-profit organization, donations from any source are gratefully received.

If you would like to make a donation, you can go directly to their website at
http://www.newbeginningsrockport.com and click on the "Donate" button or you can contact Don or Treva Forrester or any of the Deacons at the church and they will be happy to accept your donation for this struggling group.

As this group is staffed 100% by volunteers, you can be assured that 100% of your donation will go toward their worthy causes and recovery from this destructive storm.

You can also click HERE or on the "Contact" menu item at the top of the page and tell us how you'd like to help. Someone will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Henly Baptist Church supports many non-profit organizations as a way of sharing with the community and the world those gifts with which the Lord has blessed our church.  We thought you might like to know a bit more about these fine organizations and their missions.

Our featured non-profit organization this month is

Jewels of Jesus

These precious young girls are lead by Nancy Snead, with the assistance of Samantha Snead and LaVeta Rodriguez, as they teach the girls to be His "jewel" as they grow "in Him"

Jewels is open to girls ages 6 on up. The girls meet once a month and have planned activities during their meeting as well as hosting different events for the church. They are also involved in events around the community.

"They shall be Mine," says the Lord of hosts. "On the day that I will make them My jewels"
Malachi 3:17
